Grew up in a liberal NY family, early adapter hippie and Zappa fan, went to Woodstock. Got into humanistic psychology in college, worked in a psych unit and got the real picture on brain disorders. Did a little punk scene, then married at 34 and moved to Kauai. My husband died in '92 and I was left with 2 young boys to raise–not my plan. Moved back to Boulder and began working as a writer. Now specialize in health and nutrition writing (evidence-based not alternative). Loved my 4 Integral Institute seminars! I now live with my partner and our 4 boys ages 12-21.
